After his retirement in 1992, he went to work for several years at Pathmark in the deli department, where he thoroughly enjoyed working. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, trips to Atlantic City, mornings at Dunkin Donuts with his crew, watching Jeopardy, doing crossword puzzles, and cooking, especially the eggplant parm for which he was known. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, at 9:30 AM.
