Obituary of Bill Karczewski

William "Bill" Karczewski, age 63, passed away at his Staten Island home on January 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia Karczewski for 41 years. He was the loving father of Kirk and his wife Jennifer and William and his wife Christine. He was the cherished 'Pop' of Tyler, Leah, Kara, Owen and Baby K that is due this July.

Bill was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ where he was raised by his mother, Albina, his father, Walter, and his brother, Walter (all deceased). He married the love of his life, Cynthia, on September 11, 1976 and moved to Staten Island where he raised his sons in West Brighton and Westerleigh. He worked tirelessly for his family as a sanitation worker and ended his career as a United States Postal employee. After he retired he volunteered for P.L.U.T.O. and Holy Family Church. Bill enjoyed vacations with his family (especially Disney World), loved all dogs in his life, adored every minute with his grandkids and would never turn down a hot cup of coffee.
