Obituary of Josephine M. Aquilino

Josephine Aquilino, 91 formerly of South Beach, SI, NY, Died January 13 in Regency Heritage Rehab & Nursing Center in Somerset, NJ. Born on March 23, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Antonio & Theresa Pellicano. Josephine moved to Staten Island, NY in July of 1977 with her family. Her husband Alfred predeceased her on September 27, 1996. Besides being a stay at home mom, she worked a few part time jobs at John Wanamaker, A & S Dept. Store & was a volunteer in her children's school & grandchildren's school for various fundraisers. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City, watching soap operas & being with her grandchildren. She loved cooking & passed recipes on to her children. While living on Staten Island, she was a parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, South Beach. Surviving are her two Daughters Joanne Ziegelbaum and Terry Pisani, son-in-laws Ira and John, two sisters Theresa Carlesi and Catherine DelPrete, and five grandchildren: Lauren, Sara, Joshua, Nicholas and Michele.
