Obituary of Emily H. Wall

Emily Hanania Wall, 44 of Staten Island, NY passed away on January 23, 2018 at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset LI. She was born on October 23,1973 in Hoboken, NJ and in 1979 moved to Leonardo, NJ. She went on to earn a BS in Psychology and a BA in Spanish at High Point University, NC. Emily worked for Merrill Lynch NYC as an executive assistant from 2000-2009 after leaving, Emily earned a nursing degree at Trinitas School of Nursing she was on the Deans list and graduated a valedictorian. Emily went on to work at Trinitas from 2013-Present. Before her passing she was one class away from her Masters in Nursing. Emily was an advocate for her boys and the disabled, in particular Down Syndrome. She enjoyed trips to Lake George, trips to the zoo with family and spending time with family and friends. For all of her family and friends who knew and loved Emily, they all know she left this world a much better place. She was predeceased by her parents Isa and Ursula. Surviving are her loving husband of 17 years and the loves of her life her two sons Matthew and David. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, 1/27/18, departing at 9:15 AM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help-Saint Agnes Parish, Atlantic Highlands, NJ at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Redbank NJ. Family and friends may visit on Friday, 1/26/18, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
