Obituary of Irma Torres

lrma Torres, age 65, of East Stroudsburg, PA, formerly of Brooklyn went to be with

the Lord peacefully on April 5, 2018 at Regional Medical Center of Scranton.

Fondly remembered as the loving mother of lrma Denise Torres, Elliot Vazquez,

and David Vazquez, she was the eldest of 9 siblings, the cherished grandmother

of 8 and great grandmother of 1. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest

pride and joy.

Her love for her family was as firm as her love for God, expressed thru her

Pentecostal faith throughout her life. She will be remembered as an incredibly

strong willed woman who lived her life to the fullest. The trials and struggles she

overcame were no match for her unwavering trust in God.

She is gone but will never be forgotten. Although we are apart, her spirit will lie

within us. lrma Torres Diomede will be forever in ours hearts.

Memorial Service will be held at Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Boulevard,

Sunday, April 15th from 2-6pm.
