Obituary of Patricia McCann

Patricia McCann passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 9th. She is survived by her two sons, Timothy and Steven, their spouses Daniel and Melissa, and her three grandsons, Kevin, Joseph, and Brandon. She is reunited with her caring parents Steven and Marion and the love of her life, Kevin.

Pat was born and raised in Brooklyn before meeting Kevin and settling down in Staten Island to start a family. She worked for years with her sister and friend and spent much of her retired years volunteering. 

Pat was an avid reader, loved the beach, and enjoyed playing games with friends. Her greatest joy was the love of her family and spending time with her grandsons.

Pat touched many people during her life and will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:15 AM.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita’s R.C. Church at 10:00 AM.  Committal will be private.  Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
