Obituary of Annmarie Neu

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and former Wife Annmarie Neu passed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 60 to a hard fight of battling cancer. Annmarie was born in Yorkville, New York to Albert and Bridget Ackerly on July 8, 1964. She grew up in Yorkville with her 3 sisters and 1 brother, Kathy, Chrissy, Theresa and Tommy. Annmarie graduated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help High School in Manhattan, Class of 1981. After high school, Annmarie and her family moved to Astoria, Queens before she settled down in Staten Island in 1991 where she lived for the past 34 years. In 1991 she got married to her former husband Henry Neu and shared 3 beautiful children together. Annmarie was a proud mother to her 3 children, Patrick, Dana and Christopher. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her granddaughter's Valentina and Lucia. She was also a dog mommy to her beautiful and loving Heidi Moo Moo. Annie was a dog lover and a real comedian always sharing laughs with family and friends. She had a proud life long career with the NYPD for 35+ years. Annmarie is preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her 3 children Patrick, Dana and Christopher, and granddaughter's Valentina and Lucia, along with her siblings, Kathy, Chrissy, Theresa and Tommy. Annmarie's beautiful soul will always be remembered along with her humor, strength and resilience that left an impact on everyone she met. She will forever be missed and in our hearts .
