Obituary of Michael P. "Mickey" Brodigan

Michael P. “Mickey” Brodigan, 87, of Breezy Point, passed away on February 6, 2025.  He was the beloved father of Kelly LaCerra (late Larry) and Maureen Ponzo (John); dear grandfather of Katy LaCerra, Cassidy LaCerra, Shaun O’Brien, Caitlin Molnar; cherished great-grandfather of Adelina O’Brien.

Mr. Brodigan was born and raised in Brooklyn (Sheepshead Bay).  He was employed in Printing in the financial industry.  In his spare time, he enjoyed playing horseshoes, poker, and pitch n’ put.  He also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, departing at 12 Noon.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 12:30 PM.  Arrangements include private cremation.  Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12 Noon.
