Obituary of Carmen E. Martinez-Alequin

Carmen E. Martinez- Alequin was born in Marico, Puerto Rico on December 3, 1934. Carmen passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 90.
She was the daughter of Luis Anselmo Martinez and Maria Alequin Camacho.
Carmen married the love of her life Fernando Jusino. Together, they were blessed with four children: Fernando, Ivonne, Ada Iris, and Karen.
Carmen pursued her passion of sewing and design at F.I.T. in New York City in the early 1970's. She became a skilled seamstress who worked full time in her craft and became an expert in creating communion dresses, bringing joy to many families.
Carmen's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Her kindness and love, coupled with an unwavering dedication to her family will never be forgotten.
Carmen's legacy lives on through generations. She nurtured, and will always be remembered with love and gratitude. She will be missed dearly, but forever will remain in our hearts.
