Vincent A. Soriano, 92, passed away on February 12, 2025. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Rose. He is survived by his sons Vincent and John along with grandchildren Christopher, Ryan and Tiffany. He loved his family and was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather.

Vincent worked his way up the ladder during his over 30-year career with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, starting out as a Laborer and retiring as a Superintendent.  He was a skilled marksman and won multiple tournaments. He also enjoyed bowling, leather crafting, and growing plants and vegetables in the garden in the backyard of the family home. He loved a good cup of coffee and would never refuse an offer for one. He also enjoyed building things.  He practically rebuilt the home the family resided in the Old Mill Basin Section of Brooklyn.

He served in the Army during the Korean War first as an infantryman and then as a member of a troop transport trucking unit.  Vincent was also a 4th degree knight in the Knights of Columbus. He was also very active in his parish church, Mary Queen of Heaven. With the church he served as an usher, eucharistic minister and was a member of the Holy Name Society.
