Janet Elizabeth Tolas, 67, a cherished nurse, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on February 13, 2025. Born on January 30, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York. From a young age, Janet felt a profound calling to care for others, which led her to a fulfilling career as a nurse. Janet's love for the arts was evident in her many creative endeavors, from painting to crafting holiday costumes and baking elaborate birthday cakes. Her artistic talents brought joy and warmth to those around her. Janet was the beloved daughter of the late Jesse and Ethel Morton. She was predeceased by her brother Edward and is survived by her sister Deborah. Janet leaves behind her children, Robert (Veronica), Charles, and Kristen, as well as her five adored grandchildren: Luke (Robert), Landyn (Robert), Cianna (Kristen), Lainey Mae (Robert), and Leyla (Kristen). She is also survived by her former husband, Charles. Janet was a loving and compassionate sister, mother, and grandmother who graced this world with her presence for 67 years. Her legacy will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched. Janet will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
