Obituary of Marguerite A. Cericola

Marguerite Cericola, age 83 formerly of Staten Island, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Cericola and her beloved daughter Janet McComb.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Ferone and son in law Richard Ferone, Michelle Marrone and son in law Nicholas Marrone and her son Nicholas Cericola. She is also survived by her two granddaughters and one great granddaughter.

Marguerite was the youngest of nine children and predeceased by her sisters, Lucille Klein, Anita Stahler, and Frances Crispino, brothers Nicholas Russo, Thomas Russo and Ernest Russo.

She is survived by her sisters Carmel Malec and Anne McDermid.

Marguerite loved dancing, going to the casino, cooking and spending quality time with her family and friends.

She was a loving, compassionate wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend who would do anything for anyone.

Marguerite will live on in all the lives she touched with the wonderful memories that were made.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all that new her.

Family and friends may visit the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd. Staten Island, NY on Monday 3/3 from 4-8 PM. There will be a funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday 3/4 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
