Obituary of Rose Carioti

Carmela “Rose” Carioti, 89, passed away on March 3, 2025. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Peter and her 6 children and spouses: Alan and Laura, Sandra and Barbara, Richard and Barbara, Joseph and Kathleen, Rose, and Rita. Carmela also leaves behind  7 grandchildren (Richard, Charlotte, Kristen, Alec, Brianna, Ian and Meagan) and 5 great grandchildren (Richard, Paul, Jeremy, Jack and Dean). 

Rose was a music lover who adored the Beatles. She also loved the beach and enjoyed painting. Rose also never met an animal she didn’t love, and she was especially fond of cats. She dedicated her life to raising her family. Mom, you will always be in our thoughts and hearts. We will miss you forever. 

The visitation will be at Matthew Funeral Home on March 8 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Following a private cremation, there will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 15 at 12:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 18 Ryers Lane, Matawan, NJ 07747.
