Obituary of Lorraine Counts

Lorraine P. Counts (nee Frank), age 72, of West Brighton, passed away after a short illness, on March 4, 2025. Lorraine was daughter of the late John and Dorothy Frank; wife of the late William Counts; loving mother of Nerissa, Billy, and Matthew; cherished grandmother of Natalie, Emily, Liam, Joshua, Gerard & Nicholas; dear sister of Gertrude Shenk (Trudy), John, Jeff and the late Marianne Fischer; cherished mother-in-law to Michael Scoma & Jessica Counts. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Counts was born on Staten Island and graduated from Port Richmond High School in 1970. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing card games among other things. She also liked to travel to Las Vegas with her mother and sister. Along with being a full-time mother, Lorraine also worked various administrative jobs throughout the years and won the Miss Insurance pageant in 1975.  Lorraine will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
