Obituary of Joseph John Kane

Joseph John Kane, 80, of Bulls Head, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Dorothy; loving husband of the late Veronica (nee Jackson); dear brother of Catherine, Jimmy, Tommy and Missy. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Kane was born and raised in Brooklyn. For many years he was employed as a Doorman with local 32 BJ. He enjoyed painting and listening to all genres of music. He also enjoyed watching movies. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Tunnel to Towers in memory of Joseph.
