Rosaura was the mother of many. She was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, a strong-willed parent, a dedicated wife and homemaker, a generous woman who was fully devoted to her many descendants as well as the less fortunate. A tough cookie, she will always be remembered for her strong personality, her tenacity, sense of humor, no nonsense approach to parenting and her strong emphasis on faith in Christ, Christianity and overall discipline. In her younger years, Rosaura would spend her days preparing meals in the kitchen, caring for her many descendants, her brother Pito and the downtrodden. In her later years, she worked as a home attendant, caring for the elderly and the disabled. A true Puerto Rican, she loved to cook, talk, laugh, tell jokes and dance to salsa music. Her pastimes were collecting knickknacks, watching Novelas, Sabado Gigante, Spanish Comedies, Caso Cerrado, I Love Lucy and The Price is Right. As the matriarch of the Santiago family, her energy and presence was invaluable, immeasurable and irreplaceable. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
