Obituary of Alice Cinquemani

Alice Cinquemani (Carlin) 79, a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the age of 79 in Toms River, NJ. Alice was born on April 2, 1945, in Staten Island, NY. She was beautiful, kind, brave, loving and supportive, always putting others first. Alice was the maître d at the Staaten Restaurant for over 20 years. She was the life of the party!! She was a true inspiration to all who knew her. Alice was married for 64 years to her soulmate, Salvatore Cinquemani. Alice met Sal when she was 15 years old. From their favorite trips to Atlantic City, where they would ride their bicycles on the boardwalk, to cruises and trips to Florida and Italy. They were destined to spend a lifetime together. Alice was the love of Sal's life. She will be his Guardian Angel until they are together again. Alice's memory will always live on in her family. She was the loving mother of Thomas Cinquemani, daughters: Grace Cinquemani, Alyson and her husband John Scudiero and Donna and her husband Anthony DiNoia, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She cherished spending time with each and every one of them. "To the world, you are a mother, but to your family, you are the world." Alice is survived by her sister, Kathy and Mary. Their Sunday family dinners were the perfect way to spend time together. Dear God, thank-you for the gift of our mother, for her love, patience and strength. We are grateful for all she has done for our family, May she know your love and peace always. Funeral from Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Friday, 3/28/2025, departing at 11:30 AM. A Service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, 3/27/2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
