Obituary of Mary Ann Febbraio
Mary Ann (DiBlasio) Febbraio was born on May 16, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, to August and Sylvia DiBlasio, joining big sister Dolores and turning a family of three into a happier family of four. The family later welcomed a son and little brother, Michael, who completed the family. This family of five will now be reunited in heaven with the passing of Mary Ann on March 25, 2025.
Mary Ann was a proud Italian-American, a lifelong Catholic, a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a sister-in-law, an aunt, a godmother, a wife, a stepmother, a great aunt, a great-great aunt, and a friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her and whose lives she brightened. Her absence will be felt forever by those closest to her whose hearts are now broken.
Mary Ann worked in Manhattan as a secretary, lived for a time in New Jersey, and settled in Staten Island for most of her adult life. In 1994, she finally became a blushing bride and stepmom to three daughters when she married Michael Febbraio, who she fondly referred to as Mikey and Baby Boy. Mike and Mary Ann were inseparable during their 30 years of marriage until Mike's passing in 2024. The two lovebirds, as people referred to them, are together again.
Mary Ann will be best remembered for her love of family, her sense of humor, and her gift of gab. She was the life of the party and people loved to be around her. A beautiful soul has gone, but she gave us a lifetime of laughs and decades of precious memories to cherish.
