Obituary of Joseph Terelle

Joseph Terelle, 73, of Silver Lake, Staten Island, passed away on March 28, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late John and Flora Terelle; dear brother of Paula McNamara (Late John), Gerard (Giuseppina), John (Cathy); cherished uncle of John McNamara (Diane), Lisa Salaris (Anthony), Flora Fuentes (Michael), Mark Terelle, Angelo Terelle, Ross Terelle and Victoria Terelle.

Joseph was born and raised on Staten Island, graduating from Curtis High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from City College of New York. He spent his career with the United States Postal Service in shipping. In his spare time he enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and reading. Joseph enjoyed travelling, with journeys to Italy, France, England, Holland, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Canada.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, departing at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's R.C. Church at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday from 4:00 to 9:00 PM.
