Obituary of Jane Delisio

Jane Delisio (nee Forlenza), passed away peacefully at Treasure Coast Hospice on April 18, 2025. Jane was born on November 17, 1945 in Staten Island, NY to Palmyra Ginestroni and Anthony Forlenza. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John Delisio, her children, Carolyn Collins and John Delisio, her grandchildren Thomas Collins, Valerie Collins, Lorenzo Delisio, and Nicoletta Delisio, her sister Pamela Gallagher, brothers Paul Forlenza and Anthony Forlenza, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In her professional life, Jane completed an Associate's degree from the College of Staten Island in Business Administration and worked as an executive secretary at Dun & Bradstreet and JTD Land Services for a total of 10 years. She was also an entrepreneur and owned Carousel Toys on Staten Island for 5 years. However, her greatest joy in life was raising her children and grandchildren. Jane enjoyed ceramics, shopping, traveling, and cooking. Jane was a collector — she loved to collect Lenox, Hummel figurines, Swarovski crystals, and more — but most of all, she loved to collect memories with her family. Jane was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma/nana, sister, cousin, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, godmother, niece, neighbor, and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Friends will be received Saturday June 7th from 2 pm - 4pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 4pm in the Matthew Funeral Home 2508 Victory Blvd SI, NY.
