Obituary of Ana J. Mulkay

Ana J. Mulkay 97 of Westerleigh, Staten Island. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother died Saturday June 7, 2025, at Carmel Richmond Nursing Home.

Born in Havana Cuba, Mrs. Mulkay immigrated to Westerleigh where she lived for 55 years.

She worked making sure all her children studied and became successful and independent in their lives.  Mrs. Mulkay’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her.  She enjoyed gardening and traveling the world alongside her late husband Julio T. Mulkay.  Together they walked the Great Wall of China, walked inside the Great Pyramids in Egypt, explored Russia, Taj Mahal, and the Berlin Wall to name a few.

She was a parishioner of Holy Family R.C. Church Westerleigh.

Surviving is her son Julio, four daughters, Nellie Mulkay, Maria Welsh, Ana Malandro and Julia Pugliese, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.
