I met Joe in 2010 during a very difficult time. He and I became instant friends. My son was only 6 and Joe welcomed him as one of his own. Joe was incredibly kind and considerate, thoughtful and funny. He and I spent some much time talking and laughing. The attached pictures are of a trip to CO in Feb 2016 with the two sons. It was a trip filled with great skiing and lots of laughs and tremendous memories with the two boys. It was an incredibly special trip to Joe and I.
I saw Joe in Miami a couple months ago and stayed with him for a night. I will always be thankful that I did. We had been making plans for a fishing trip to NC.
During the worst time in my life while my brother was sick, Joe was a constant presence in my life. Calling daily to check in and listen and make me laugh. The greatest friend imaginable.
I consider you my brother.

I met Joe 21 years ago and within 5 minutes I guessed he was a cop. He rented a studio to me. He was always helpful, a gentleman, and a friend that made me laugh. Just so happened that I bumped into him the day before he left us. We spoke about 15 minutes. When I asked how he was, he said “great, life is good “. Rest in peace Joe, I know you’ll have your wings soon. It was my pleasure to have known you. Linda

Joe and I met at PSA2 where we became partners in 1996. Since then we became best friends. A funny guy we had tons a stupid humor laughs including our own language to this day. We would still laugh about it after 30 years and say "it never gets old". We would meet up at his camper at nascar including one time with his son Joseph, my son Joseph, me and Joe. We introduced ourselves to the waiter as Joseph, Joseph, Joe and Joe. This will never happen again my lifetime. A true friend that will be deeply missed. Love you Bro, until we meet again... Rest in peace...

I met Joe at The Police Academy. He was soooooo funny. Anytime I'd see him in the hallway, we'd walk away with tears in our eyes from laughter. He was such a gentleman, a great friend and he will be missed. Prayers for the Family & Friends! Joe was "One Of A Kind"

I met Joe in 2015/16 in a FB group. How lucky was I! We found out we had so much in common that we had to be friends out of the group. I am forever grateful we had our trip to Norway/Switzerland to give me memoires for a lifetime. Rest easy my friend, until we travel together again.

Joe was a snarky, opinionated BSS Dad and I loved every minute of time I spent with him! We met at Blessed Sacrament School where our kids attended grammar school. He had a great attitude about life, lived his bucket list every day, and cared for others every step of the way. I miss you, dude!

I met Joe in 2011 in New York when I visited from Ireland. He was the most welcoming individual id ever met, I'm yet to meet someone else like him. We kept in touch and became good friends. He came to Ireland to my wedding in 2017. May he rest in peace.
