Hi Kathy, Kevin, Patrick and entire family circle. We're all so sad and shocked to hear of the death of Margaret. She was so kind and helpful on the occasion my wife Monica and I visited your home - so many years ago now. We talked so many times about our visit and the American/Irish hospitality we received from you all. We talked about Mrs O'Connor's and Margaret's great welcome and tenderness. You all were so gifted to have them. Its so sad they passed away so soon. God bless you Margaret. From Pat & Monica McGuigan and our daughter Nicola and her husband Kevin and two grandchildren. I am so heartbroken about this. I’ve known and worked with Margaret for 39 years. We’ve worked together more and become closer as the years have gone by. We read the same books, drank the same Irish tea, complained to each other about the same things. When you work with someone for such a long, long time you become more than co-workers. You become family. This is a big loss to our Cahill family. My sincerest condolences to Margaret’s family. We are all going to miss her so much. Rest in peace, my friend.

There are no words that could possibly describe the incredible loss of my friend Margaret. Her and I worked so closely at Cahill it’s hard to imagine how things will ever be the same. Not only was she an amazing co-worker, but she was an amazing friend. Whenever I needed someone to talk to, someone to me give sage advice, and someone to lift me up when I was feeling down she was always there. There was nothing quite like Margaret’s laugh and her humor. She constantly made me laugh to the point of tears. I have so many fond memories of times in and out of the office that I will cherish forever. The best way to put it is that Margaret’s personality was magnetic and I am so grateful to have known/gotten so close to her these last few years. I will miss her dearly. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends.

I am so sad in cousin Margie's loss of life, loss to her siblings, nieces and nephews, and Aunt. I'm so sorry for broken hearts. Reading memories posted by friends and coworkers over her decades with Cahill, is lovely to see how her humor, laughter, smiles and sincerity were enjoyed by so many, other than ourselves. We O'Connor's always looked forward to family occasions since childhood. A great big gang of us too. I do not doubt her parents, grandparents and brother were on the other side to greet her immediately along with all our other elders and cousins gone on ahead of us whom we all miss dearly. Now, you too. Until we meet again dear Margie.

My Aunt Margaret was deeply loved by her family, friends, neighbors and coworkers, and held just as much love for all of them. I’ll forever be in awe of the way she looked after me, my siblings, and my cousins. She had the same warm and protective spirit as my grandmother. My Aunt Margie would do anything for us, and I’ll forever remember that in all the wonderful memories I’ll treasure forever. Whether it was playing pranks on her when she’d babysit, taking trips up to the Poconos, going to Broadway shows, concerts, dinners, Christmas shopping, helping her make her famous thumbprint cookies, or most importantly, just sitting at home and watching a Yankee game and laughing at Gerrit Cole or Brett Gardner’s antics, or playing along to a healthy rotation of game shows with some ice cream in hand, spending time with my Aunt Margie was always special. She was there for me every step of the way, from childhood, at my college graduation, through the beginnings of my career, and up to her final weeks. Her incredible blend of no-nonsense humor and genuine kindness and humility was one-of-a-kind. She lived to serve her family, and we’ll all be forever grateful. While she leaves a great void with her passing, it will be filled with all the love, memories, and support she gave to each of us.

As we remember Margaret O'Conner, I want to take a moment to reflect on the joy she brought into our lives. Though we knew her for a short time, her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on us.
Every interaction with her was filled with laughter and heartfelt conversations. Jorge and JR truly enjoyed bringing her the mail, knowing that each delivery would spark a smile and brighten her day. Her ability to connect with others and spread joy was a gift that we will always cherish.
Margaret, you will be deeply missed. Our hearts are heavy with this loss, but we will carry your memory with us, celebrating the happiness you shared.
With love and remembrance,
Jorge and JR Mailroom

I was not only blessed to have worked with Margaret by my side for all my years at Cahill, but also to have a true friend who became an integral part of my life. Her warmth was a gift that greeted me each day, filling our workplace with light and making even the most challenging moments easier to bear. She had a loving and generous spirit that touched everyone she met, and her sense of fun brought smiles and laughter to us all.
Her loyalty and unwavering dedication were a constant source of strength for me and for everyone she worked with. She was more than a colleague—she was a confidante, a source of encouragement, and someone who made the days richer simply by being herself.
I will miss her deeply. My prayers and loving thoughts are with her family during this difficult time. Her presence will forever live in the memories and the heartfelt impact she left on our lives.
