March 8, 1957 - July 5, 2025
Virgilio Palaypay, beloved husband, loving grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother and uncle, and faithful friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025. His kind and gentle demeaner will be felt for generations to come.
Virgilio was born in the Philippines and came to the United States to provide opportunity for his family. He worked for the last sixteen years as a professional cook, admired for running a clean and organized kitchen.
His favorite past-time was to spend time with his loving wife and best friend, Yolanda. They were together for forty-seven wonderful years. They liked to take walks together and shared countless laughs. Virgilio enjoyed staying fit and different forms of exercise, particularly walking and biking. He also loved nothing more than to catch up with his children and grandchildren over the phone.
After almost a year of battling cancer, Virgilio is survived by his children Jeffrey, Mark, Sunshine, and Jaypee, his grandchildren JM, Sam, Carly, Alas, Cyrus, Cyril, and Calix, and his great-granddaughter Kelly.
A mass to celebrate the life of Virgilio will be held on Thursday, 10am at:
St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church

Virgilio's endless love and devotion to his family will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
