Obituary of Egeo Medoro

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Egeo Medoro (Jay) age 78, on July 10th, 2025. He passed in his home on Staten Island peacefully and surrounded by his loving family. Egeo was born in Italy on March 20,1947. He is survived by his wife Joann Medoro along with his children Christine Medoro and Lisa (Greg) Padavano, his sister Gina (Paul) Scaturro and nephews Joseph (Lisa) Scaturro and Jeffery (Roseanne)Scaturro. He also leaves behind his stepchildren Dawn (Frank) Del Quaglio Price and Louie Wertheim, his grandchildren Jessie Padavano, Antonio Padavano, Thomas Price, Ariella Del Quaglio, Skylar Mannino and Eddie Janis and his great grandchildren Eddie and Amelia Janis. Egeo was preceded in death by his first wife Johanna Medoro and his parents Antonio and Anna Medoro. Jay was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors, but above all else he was a family man. He will be greatly missed, forever loved and fondly remembered For those who would like to pay their respects, services will be held on Sunday July 13th, 2025, at Matthew Funeral Home from 3-7pm.
