Obituary of Beatrice Collora
Beatrice Collora, 82, of Westerleigh, Staten Island, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Stanley for 62 years. She was predeceased by her loving son, Sandy. She was cherished by her son, Anthony, his wife, Christy and her most loved grandchildren, Regan and Connor. She was sister to the late, Fran McMahon and survived by her two brothers, Anthony and John, brother-in-law, Joseph, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bea was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she graduated from Lafayette, High School. She met her husband, Stanley, when they both worked for Citibank. Together they had a wonderful life together raising their two sons in Staten Island. They were surrounded by wonderful family, neighbors and friends. Bea’s joy being a mother and grandmother was very clear to everyone who knew her. She delighted in seeing her grandkids grow up. Always entertaining them with her stories of her own childhood, dancing and singing with them in the kitchen and reliving her time with her own children (the good old days). One of her most favorite things to do was to dress up as “Santa Claus” every Christmas for her kids, nieces, nephews, neighborhood kids and grandkids. Delighting in the times that everyone questioned is that Mom, Aunt Bea, Grammy in that suit? Hearing the bells at Christmas will always remind her loved ones that she is with them.
