Michael was a real gentleman. Always had a good word for everyone. Talked about his family and the vacations they went on. Good guy to work with. Always had your back. Mike, you will be missed by all that knew you. Rest in peace.

The Executive Boad and members of the NYC Retired Transit Police Officers Association offer our deepest condolences and sympathies to his wife, Kay, and the Carbonaro family, on Michael's passing.
Michael was a member of the greatest Police Department - the NYC Transit Police, which he joined and was later merged into the NYPD. He will be missed by the many fellow officers who worked with or knew him. May Michael rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss and ours. I will truly miss, Mike or as I would refer to him as my little pal.
I would always greet him at work with, "Mr. Mike, I see you" and he would respond with "Hellooo Mr. Richie".
Mike was a great guy, a gentleman, and true friend. I will miss you, my little pal.
