Obituary of Myong H Kwon

Myong H Kwon, 85, of Annadale, Staten Island, passed away on August 6, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Il Soon Kwon for 56 years; loving father Sandra Kwon-Zablocki and her husband Paul, and Jay Kwon. Mr. Kwon was born and raised in South Korea and came to the United States in 1980, settling in Queens, before relocating to Staten Island in 1987. He went College in South Korea, and he worked there as a Clerical Worker in the Steel Manufacturing Industry. Myong worked as a Baker while in the United States. He enjoyed reading newspapers and watching movies. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service is scheduled at 3:00 PM, at the Funeral Home.
