Born on July 26, 1947, in Brooklyn, Mary Ann remained deeply rooted in her beloved borough throughout her life. She began her career in the Financial District before joining the New York City Department of Finance, where she rose to the role of supervisor.

After retiring, Mary Ann embraced her lifelong love of storytelling. She authored two deeply personal biographies, “Hi, My Name is Mary Ann” and “Remember Me,” which reflected her resilience, humor, and unique perspective on life.

Mary Ann was a devoted member of Gamblers Anonymous for over 35 years. Through her own journey of recovery, she found a profound calling in mentoring others. She was a guiding light to countless individuals, offering support, wisdom, and compassion to those seeking a path to healing.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eddie, brother Salvator, and sister Vincenza . Mary Ann is survived by her brother-in-law Patrick, her nieces Kimberly and Jennifer, her nephew Frank, and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, at 9:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Staten Island.
