Obituary of Frances Cirincione
It is with a sad heart that we say goodbye to our beautiful mother, Frances Cirincione, age 96, of Staten Island, NY. She passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. Frances (affectionately known as Dolly) was born on March 24,1929 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Rose (Esposito) Cerciello and Gaetano Cerciello. She was predeceased in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Cirincione, and her beloved son, Victor Cirincione. She was the last surviving sibling of Faye, Anna, Richie, Sonny, Claire and Joseph (lost in childhood).
Frances was loved and admired by all who knew her. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin and friend. She brought abundant wisdom, patience, kindness and light to every situation. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was an intelligent, hard-working and creative businesswoman. She and her late husband owned Ciro’s Beauty Salon for 38 successful years. Later in life, she obtained her real estate license so she could sell real estate on her days off from the salon. She was deeply religious and enjoyed attending St. Sylvester's Church. She loved to play cards, read, paint, travel and was known for her delicious Italian meals. She loved going to the theater and eating out with her friends and nieces.
She was married for almost 60 years to her late husband, Joseph, raising four children, Victor, Guy, Lynore and Lauren, who she loved with all her heart.
She is survived by Guy (wife Christine), Lynore (husband Frank), Lauren (wife Susan) and Donna (late beloved husband Victor). She was a proud grandmother to ten wonderful grandkids: Joseph (wife Katie), Steven (wife Leah), Erik, John (wife Liz), Victor, Karen (husband Gary), Austen (wife Justina), Alex, Linda (husband Brian) and Alex. She was a loving great grandmother to Victor, Natalie, Jacob, Evan, Clayton, Cameron and Holly.
Her beautiful spirit and love for life lives on in all of her family members.
