Obituary of Kenneth A. Keshecki Sr.

Kenneth A. Keshecki Sr., age 69, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025. He was the devoted son of the late Edward and Mary Keshecki; beloved husband of Julia (nee Benson); loving father of Kenneth A. Keshecki Jr. (Alyssa) and Lori Ann Vining (Peter); cherished Pop of Ryan, Ashley and Nick; stand-in father to Gregg Keshecki and Jennifer Lizo; dear brother of Linda Harris and the late Edward Keshecki Jr; dear brother in law of Robert Benson (Joann). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Kenny was born and raised in Staten Island. He grew up in Port Richmond and enjoyed bowling and loved cruising in his Trans Am. He was a proud auxiliary police officer at the 120 precinct, he later worked at General Dynamics, building parts for submarines. Kenny also worked for 30 years at the United States Postal Service. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved watching the games. He also loved taking trips to Atlantic City and Parks Casino. Kenny never took himself too seriously, he will be remembered for his witty and funny sense of humor always wanting to put a smile on the face of others. He will be dearly missed. Funeral from Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Family and friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM. A service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 PM. A private cremation will follow.
