Uncle Carmen was truly one of a kind, with a gift for bringing joy to everyone around him. Some of my most treasured memories are of the times spent with him and Aunt Snooky in New York. I used to love sitting in the gazebo playing cards and laughing while he told stories, jokes and taught me (somewhat inappropriate yet hilarious) poetry. His humor and warmth made every moment unforgettable.
What I admired most was the way he could connect with anyone. He could turn a stranger into a friend and left people smiling wherever he went. His kindness and love touched my heart and I will carry his memory with gratitude. Love you Uncle Carmen!

I'm so sad to hear of Uncle Carmen's passing. My deepest condolences to everyone. Uncle Carmen was such an amazing person with so much kindness, intelligence, and humor packed into one man! I have tons of great memories of summer visits to Uncle Carmen and Aunt Snooky and always looked forward to our adventures with them in NY. Being so far away, I haven't been able to visit for several years, but I so enjoyed all of our phone conversations and keeping up on all his latest shenanigans! A giant thank you to Lisa and family for taking such good care of our beloved uncle all these years! I really can't thank you enough, and he spoke often of everything you did for him.

Condolences to Carmen’s family.
I have so many happy memories of my brother-in-law Carmen. My sister Elizabeth “Snooky” and Carmen enjoyed having my daughters Teresa and Jenn to their house in upstate New York in the summertime. I know they have so many memories of how fun uncle Carmen was and all the funny stories he told them. I will miss him greatly.
