Obituary of Anthony J. Conte

Anthony J. Conte, 61, of Grymes Hill passed away on September 15th, 2025 at the age of 61. Anthony was an almost-lifelong Staten Islander, but he made sure everyone knew he was born in Brooklyn. Anthony was a beloved educator, having recently retired from the math department at the College of Staten Island. The 21st century Renaissance man, Anthony loved math, history, science, and rock n' roll. He will be remembered for his deep repertoire of knowledge and unmatched sense of humor. What he loved most in this world was his family. He leaves behind his beloved mother Angela Conte, children Nicholas & Maria, brothers William & Vincent, cousin John, sister-in-laws Jackie & Ryan, his nieces Julia & Isabella, and his dogs Sammy and Reggie. In heaven he joins his father, William, his godparents Anthony and Rosalie Volpe, and his beloved grandparents. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
