Obituary of Dominick J. Pasquale

In Loving Memory of Dominick 'Pop' Pasquale

April 14, 1933 – October 4, 2025
Dominick Pasquale, Sr., age 92, of Staten Island, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025.
Born April 14, 1933, in Staten Island, Dominick was the son of the late Gennaro and Genevieve Pasquale.

Dominick married the love of his life, Carol (nee Romano), on September 3, 1960.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife the late Carol (nee Romano) who passed away in 2017. Dear father to the late Jennie Shaikh. Brother to the late siblings Josephine, Louise, Angela, Annette, John and Gennaro Jr.

Dominick is survived by his children Joanne (Sam) Mangano and Dominick Jr. (Paige) Pasquale, grandchildren Abe, Robert, Cameron, Matthew, Tyler, and Noah, four great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was a proud life long resident of Bulls Head for over 65 years. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, his kindness, humor, and deep love for family touched everyone he met.

A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean War in Germany and later worked at Willowbrook State School. Known for his skill with cars, Saturdays often found neighbors lined up outside his home while his phone rang off the hook with friends asking for help. In later years, those mornings were spent sharing coffee and donuts with lifelong friends.

He shared a special bond with his grandson Cameron, who cared for him and enjoyed exploring NYC restaurants and music studios, or grabbing his favorite meal … a simple burger and hot dog. Dominick was a diehard Yankees and Giants fan, and will always be known and deeply missed for his wit, sense of humor, 40 phone calls a day checking up and giving weather reports, and most of all, his love for family.

Godspeed, Pop. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
