Obituary of Christopher J. Paige
Christopher Jared Paige, beloved son, partner, brother, and friend, passed away on October 22, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Christopher’s journey took him from the familiar streets of his hometown to the bright skies of California, and finally to Staten Island, where he made a beautiful home filled with laughter, creativity, and warmth.
The cherished son of Fredrick Harold Paige and Shirley Ann Morgan, Christopher was a loving brother to Sean and Michelle, and the proud uncle of Jada. He shared his life and heart with his devoted partner, Anthony Colon, and their beloved pets — Bear, Apple, Corey and Monkey — who brought endless joy to their home. Close friends Scott and Jeanette were part of his chosen family, sharing in the laughter, adventures, and countless small moments that made life brighter.
Christopher’s gentle spirit and vibrant personality touched everyone he met. Known for his creativity, intelligence, loyalty, and youthful heart, he had an unmatched ability to make people feel seen and appreciated. Whether offering kind words, encouragement, or a bit of well-timed silliness, he had a gift for lifting others up.
A man of many talents, Christopher built a meaningful career as both an Educational Paraprofessional and a Ballroom Dance Instructor, where he inspired students with his grace, humor, and compassion. His love of movement, music, and connection extended beyond the studio — he was a published writer, singer, and a true believer in the power of expression.
Outside of work, Christopher’s world was filled with joy. He loved dancing, singing, writing, the gym, and the playful charm of Hello Kitty, which perfectly matched his lighthearted spirit. He found happiness in the simplest things — from cat videos and small stuffed animals to sharing laughter with those he loved. And if there was a Mariah Carey song playing, you could be sure he was singing along with heart and soul.
Those who knew Christopher will remember him for his patience, encouragement, and contagious laughter. He had the rare ability to remind others that life, at its core, is about kindness, connection, and joy.
As we say goodbye to Christopher, we do so with comfort in knowing that his spirit will always dance — in every act of compassion, every song sung with joy, and every moment we choose love over anything else.
Rest easy, Christopher.
May your next dance be among the stars.
