Obituary of Lynn Catherine Fiume
Lynn C Fiume (nee McEaney) Born and raised in Staten Island -- loving and much-loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend—passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, surrounded by family who cherished her deeply. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to others will be greatly missed.
A lifetime of service defined who she was. Lynn devoted herself to her family and community, always putting the needs of others first. She served as an assistant to State Senator John Marchi and was an active member of the Richmond County Republican Party, working tirelessly to support borough candidates, civic engagement and local initiatives.
Lynn later retired from Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan, where she managed the dietitian team and led event planning. Her leadership, warmth, and commitment to the well-being of students and staff earned her the respect and admiration of all who worked alongside her. Even after retirement, her passion for helping others continued. In her later years, she contributed to addiction research studies at Northwell University Hospital, committed to improving lives through advocacy and care.
Her compassion extended far beyond public service. Lynn served on the Board of Directors at Amethyst House, a halfway house for women, a role she embraced with profound dedication. She remained steadfast in her efforts to support woman and families affected by addiction, offering her time, energy, and heart to those in need.
Lynn’s legacy is one of generosity, service, and love. She leaves behind family and friends who will forever remember her as someone who gave selflessly, cared deeply, and believed wholeheartedly in the power of helping others.
She will be greatly missed, but her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched.
