Obituary of Anthony M. Treglia

Treglia, Anthony, 54, of Dongan Hills passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family on November 4th, 2025. Anthony was a devoted, loving father of Dominique and Anthony (Spanky), loving son of Frances Treglia and the late Gennaro Treglia, beloved brother of Gennaro and Kristine, and devoted partner in raising his children with former wife, Janine DiMonda.

Anthony loved nothing more than spending time with his children, nieces/nephews, friends and family. Anthony never missed a basketball/baseball game of his son’s or a show of his daughter’s. He always cheered the loudest, with the best seat in the audience.

He was an avid car lover, especially proud of his Mercedes and Corvettes. Anthony was the light in every room, making everyone around him feel safe. He never failed to crack a joke, constantly creating laughter wherever he was. Anthony had a passion for music, and landed a record deal with Interscope Records with his band “Son of Eve.” He loved to listen to his favorite bands, Black Crows, Black Sabbath, and even Harry Styles with his daughter, Dominique.

Anthony was a proud Catholic, encouraging those around him to turn to God in times of need. He believed in the power of prayer and spread that message with those he loved. You could always find Anthony in his car, cruising around with a different passenger, listening to music and enjoying life. Anthony was a proud dog-dad to Stella, the littlest joy of his life. Anthony was the type of person that would give everything he had to others, especially his children.

Anthony’s greatest title was “Dad”, and his children will forever be proud to call him theirs. He will forever be missed, honored, respected, and loved. His time on Earth was cut too short, but his legacy will live on through all those whose lives he touched.
