Obituary of Richard Cresante

Richard Cresante, 80, of Bay Terrace, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Debbie) for 30 years. He was predeceased by his parents Nunzio and Palmira, and his brother Vincent.

He is survived by his brothers Edward and Douglas; his children Michelle Herman, Richard, Elaine, Kenneth, Chad, and Lauren; his grandchildren Peter, Michael, Nicholas, and Solangel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Richard was born and raised in Manhattan and graduated from Haaren High School, New York.  He worked as Construction Project Manager for Parks & Recreation. He then moved on to work for CSM Engineering Co. where he supervised work for the Port Authority and the MTA. He enjoyed classic cars and movies, especially horror and comedy.

Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Sunday, 11/16, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  A  Funeral Service is scheduled for 7:00 PM, at the Funeral Home.
