Obituary of Rosalinda Figueroa

Rosalinda Figueroa, a devoted mother, grandmother, and pillar of strength to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on 11/13/2025 at the age of 71. Born in Brooklyn, New York. Rosalinda lived a life defined by resilience, unconditional love, and an ability to handle anything placed in her path. Rosalinda was the kind of woman who could do everything and knew everything, the steady voice everyone leaned on. She dedicated her life not only to her family but especially to the incredible responsibility of raising her grandchildren/nieces and nephews, a role she embraced with endless patience, guidance, and love. She is survived by her beloved family: Her husband Miguel Figueroa, her daughters Linda Rodriguez, Sharon Figueroa, her grandchildren Louie Diaz, Angelica Diaz, Briana Miranda and Madison Rodriguez, great granddaughter Ophelia Diaz, who will forever cherish her strength, her humor, her wisdom, and the way she held the family together. She is preceded in death by her loving brother, sister, aunts, nieces, nephew, uncles and many cousins. Rosalinda's legacy is one of courage, compassion, and unwavering devotion. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, and her family will carry her memory in their hearts forever. A funeral service will be held on November 19, 2025 at Matthew Funeral Home with visiting hours beginning at 11am. The family welcomes all who loved her to come celebrate her life.
