Obituary of Carlo Buoninfante

Carlo Buoninfante 72 of Mariners harbor passed away November 22, 2025. He was a loving husband father and grandfather. He had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He was Born on December 23, 1952 in Salerno Italy in a small town called Pertosa. He came to America in 1968. He went to FDR high school and then met Maria Buoninfante in 1971 in Brooklyn through mutual friends. They got married in 1978 and had their first Child in 1979. He worked many jobs through his life Including jeweler, mover and his last employment was the NYC parks department where he worked as a laborer. He had a very thick Italian accent and sometimes people couldn't fully understand him however he was full of charisma and always put a smile on everyone's face whenever they encountered him. He will be missed tremendously and his spirit and memories will forever live on.   

He is survived by his wife Maria Buoninfante along with his children, Alfonso, Sarina, Antonio and Carlo along with their spouses AJ, Ibelka, Rebecca, Irena along with his 9 grand children: Aidyn, Cristiano, Logan, Autumn, Anthony, Giuliana, Gianna, Antonio and Massimo.
