Joe my Brother in Arms: My memories with you are those of sharing life together in the funniest of ways. Our trips to the Keys in Florida fishing come to mind. We also had a golf outing where a bunch of guys got together for the weekend with Friday night at Boondocks when shots of tequila were the drink of the night. Laughs, jokes, just good old boys fun brought all of us together. But the best part was that you and I shared a bed together while the others slept all over the house. I slept with one eye open as you Sicilians are known for your trickery...I'll just leave that story right there !!! Lastly over the years we shared bottles of wine together, Democrats wine and Republicans wine...we drank them both together. One such evening when your ankle biting dog was doing his thing, I sat on the step with Sebastian. Sebastian sat calmly next to me so I could pet him and you asked me why he was so calm with me and I quickly responded with "Joe can't you tell, Sebastian is a Republican"! I miss those days Joe and miss you for the laughter we had together. I'll see you on the other side ..on the Republican side of heaven. Love you my brother and thank you for being part of my life.... Dear Joe, You know how much I love you and that I will miss you everyday. I’ll miss our morning calls to work, our conversations about catching up with what’s happening at your house and mine, remembering the past memories, politics, oh I can hear you get all riled up right now. Lol! Family was the most important thing to you and bringing everyone together made you so happy. You touched so many lives and made a legacy all your own. I treasure every childhood and after memory I had with you. Opening up that special bottle of wine and enjoying that glass of wine with you when I visited. So many funny/special things I could mention but I think you know what they are. We had some good times together and sad ones, but what mattered was being together during them. I still have your army letters and remember the advice you gave me when I was younger. I asked you if you missed home and you said “anyone that has Parents as good as ours” misses home. It made me cry. Well I guess God and your Heavenly Family needs you now and you won’t be in any pain. You will be with them and not alone. Till we meet again, I love you and was blessed to have you as my “Big Brother”. Love your crazy Sis.
