Dorene McGuckin, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, passed away on December 29, 2025 , at the age of 67.

Born on March 28, 1958, Dorene was a proud graduate of Port Richmond High School. She built a life centered on love, loyalty, and family, always putting those closest to her first. Dorene was devoted to her husband, James McGuckin, and was a loving and caring mother to her children, James and Victoria, who were the light of her life.

Dorene is also survived by her cherished grandchild, Isabella, whom she loved deeply and endlessly. Being Isabella’s grandmother brought Dorene immense joy, pride, and happiness, and their bond was truly special.

Dorene was thrilled to continue her journey of being a grandmother. By being blessed with a grandson on the way.

Dorene is also survived by her brothers, Nicholas and Carlo, with whom she shared a lifelong bond filled with memories, laughter, and unwavering support.

She had a deep love for her dog, who was her constant companion, and she never missed a chance to cheer on her favorite NHL team, the New York Rangers. Whether surrounded by family, watching hockey, or enjoying quiet moments with her dog, Dorene found joy in the simple things and the people she loved most.

Dorene will be remembered for her warmth, her strong spirit, and her dedication to her family. Her love and presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
