Obituary of Mary L. Bellavigna

Mary Louise Bellavigna, 95, of Mariners Harbor, passed away on 12/29/2025.  She was the beloved wife of her late husband Mario Bellavigna of 44 years; loving mother of her daughter Karen Morris, daughter Patricia Bellavigna and Son-in-Law Richard Antonucci, and son Steven Bellavigna; cherished grandmother of Jennifer Morris and Anthony Antonucci; cherished great grandmother of Alana Marie Zaytsev; dear sister of late Linda Zawada and niece Lisa Zawada and beloved puppy Harper-Rae. 

Mary was born and raised in Mariners Harbor, Staten Island New York and attended Port Richmond High School and became a homemaker and went on to marry the love of her life Mario Bellavigna.  Mary was an excellent cook who put as much love into her cooking as she did for the people she cooked for.  She was a self-less person who worried about everyone else before herself.  She was very independent and wanted help from no one.  She loved her soap-operas “Days of our Lives” and “General Hospital” and never missed an episode.  She also loved her gameshows, which were Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud. 

          Family and friends may visit the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd. on Saturday January 3, 2026, from 2-6.  A service will be held at the funeral home at 3:30PM.
