I’m honored to have met Olivia at The Bridge Club of Staten Island. She was the sweetest lady and her kindness was so appreciated. I know she is with Jesus in heaven. I pray for her family at this time of sadnesss. I lost my son Thomas last April so I know how sorrowful
This is. May she rest in peace ❤️

So many people are doing so much good for the people of Staten Island and the world due to the support and encouragement of Olivia.
While in my 20s, attending a Physician asst program at night and working as bachelor's level social worker during the day, I had the privilege to learn and grow under Olivia. I never had any intention of continuing to be social worker or studying for my MSW until I met her.
She praised me, convinced me, and then guided, nurtured, and taught me. Taught me how to best serve people. How to be humble. How to be kind. How to be appropriately assertive, a skill that appears to be extremely rare. How to love. And how to make a mark.
25 years ago I met Olivia and I was so blessed that she remained in my life, even attending my 50th birthday party last year.
Now she for sure will fly with the angels while the thousands of people she has helped or inspired to help go forward to continue to do good because of her.

Thank you for all you did for me throughout my life. You pushed me to go back to school and finish my degree and giot me on the path to have a long career as a NYC Public School teacher. May you rest in eternal peace from your son in law.

Very sorry to learn Olivia has passed. Hard to believe. Worked with Olivia many years at SIUH and we were like a big family sharing a tough work load. She was so generous having us to her home too. May she RIP and may she never be forgotten. So very sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences.

I’ve worked with Olivia at Staten Island University Hospital, where she was my manager. Olivia was a pleasure and always supportive of her staff. Some of my fondest memories are of lunchtime where Olivia would bring in her yummy baked goods, I have also had the pleasure to enjoy vacationing at Disney with Regina John and Olivia. Olivia and I were roommates, we had a blast , shared laughter and great memories. Prayers for peace and comfort for the Brennan Family

So very sorry to hear of Olivia’s passing. I had the honor and privilege of working with her at SIUH-North. As a nurse case manager, social workers were our partners. Olivia was the epitome of a true social worker. She mentored and supported us all in the department. Her wisdom, kindness and compassion inspired me to be the RN case manager I am today. I am and will always be grateful to Olivia both professionally and personally. May she rest in eternal peace. This picture attached was our reunion she hosted in her home.

My deepest condolences to the Brennan family. Olivia was not just a wonderful boss but also a valued friend. We shared an office in which I experienced many joyful moments and soothing compassion when my life experienced unexpected sorrows. She was a great champion in my life and in many others. We, her staff and friends celebrated her birthday at Jade Island. This picture I’m sharing is from that celebration. May her family find some solace knowing that she was admired and loved by many throughout her life. She is so very missed. I adored her.
