Obituary of Bryan Curty

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bryan Curty, age 51, who left us on November 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

A devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Bryan was a man whose kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone he met. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Raised in Staten Island, New York, Bryan hustled and worked hard to better himself and encouraged others to do the same. He would often say that people either loved or hated him. That was simply not true, if you were lucky enough to know Bryan, then you loved him. You would be hard pressed to find a truer friend than Bryan Curty.

Bryan was an operations manager at Verizon for over 25 years, where he was respected by colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, he loved working on cars, mowing lawns, traveling, and his zest for life was infectious. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones.

Throughout his illness, Bryan showed extraordinary strength, positivity and grace, never allowing his circumstances to diminish his spirit or the love he gave to others. His fight with cancer may have taken him from us far too soon, but the legacy of his kindness, bravery, and humor will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Bryan is survived by his wife Kristen, daughter Skyler, father Robert, brother James, beloved cousins and countless friends who will cherish his memory always. He is preceded in death by his mother Maria.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, between 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM. A service will take place at the funeral home at 7:30 pm. Inurnment at Moravian Cemetery Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kristen's fundraiser for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's Houston area's Purple Stride Charity Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness
