A Resident of New Springville, Staten Island, NY, and formerly of Brooklyn, NY

Millie was predeceased by her parents Stephanie and Joseph Tripoli. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Nicosia, loving mother of Robert Nicosia, Francine Brady, and son-in-law Gerard Brady. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra Brady and Katrina Brady.

In Millie's earlier years she lived and was raised in Brooklyn. She was the last survivor of 11 siblings. In her early twenties she worked as an electronics assembler for Globe Electronics. She met her husband, the late Robert J. Nicosia and married in 1954. She lived in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn and had 2 children. In 1969, she moved to New Springville, Staten Island where she spent the rest of her years.

She was an avid cook and baker. She was known by family and friends for her baking skills especially at Christmas time when she would make trays of cookies for loved ones and friends. She continued this tradition for over 50 years. Some of her other hobbies included singing, crafting, sewing, lottery scratch off cards and trips to AC. She loved spending time with her family and especially her granddaughters. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Sunday, 1/18, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. A service is scheduled for Monday, 1/19, at the Funeral Home, with entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.
