Obituary of Jack J. Napolitano
Jack Napolitano of Staten Island, NY passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 82.
Born on January 28, 1944 in Brooklyn NY, Jack was the son of Giacomo and Luz Napolitano. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Irene Napolitano, his children Rachel Smolka, Patrick Smolka and Matthew Napolitano, his grandchildren Kayla and Charles Smolka and his sister Lucy Soltis. He worked as an Executive at Chase Manhattan Bank where he retired at the age of 50. He has since devoted his life to his family and took great pride in being a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved tending to his garden, tinkering around the house and completing his 5 mile daily walks. Those who knew him will remember him for his strength, hard work ethic and fabulous mustache. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to family along with a lifetime of wonderful memories.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to be made in his name to either the JCC of Staten Island or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Services will be held at Matthews Funeral from Friday February 6th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
