Obituary of Lucille Teresa Vogt

Lucille Teresa Vogt was born on December 15, 1933, in Staten Island, NY.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Mankee.  Lucille is survived by her three children, Elizabeth Clayton, Richard Sims, and Rober Sims.  She also leaves behind five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. 

Lucille was a dedicated nurse who went on to get her Master’s Degree and spent her long career in the healthcare field.  After retiring she moved to East Stroudsburg, PA with her late husband Bruce Vogt.  They enjoyed many years traveling the world.  In 2014 Lucille moved to Southold, NY to be closer to her daughter Elizabeth.  She loved her life on the East End of Long Island. 

On February 3, 2026, she passed peacefully at the age of 92 in Southampton Hospital.  She was surrounded by her family.

Family and friends may visit the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd., on Saturday, February 7^th from 4-8PM.  A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 7pm.
