Obituary of Anais M. Rivera

Anais Rivera passed away suddenly on February 16th in Queens Hospital Center.

Anais was born and raised in Brooklyn. She attended New York University where she met her future husband, Jim, who she married upon graduating college. Anais gave birth to two beautiful daughters, Alex and Isabel.

Anais was an amateur photographer. Her love of travel had taken her to the great cities of Europe as well as Mexico, Alaska, and Costa Rica. She loved walks on green spaces with her dogs.

Anais worked as a sound engineer and video editor before lending her skills to various nonprofits, most recently working with young college-bound seniors and entrepreneurs.

Anais's greatest loves were her children, Alex and Isabel, in whom she was extremely proud. And of course, she held a very special place in her heart for her granddaughter, Penelope.

Anais is survived by her husband, Jim, and her two daughters, Alex & Isabel, as well as her granddaughter, Penelope.
