Obituary of Judith Coniglio
Judith “Judy” Yovino Coniglio
May 10th, 1944 – March 1st, 2026
Judith “Judy” Yovino Coniglio, 81, of Staten Island, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. Born on May 10th, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Elizabeth and James Yovino, Judy was a woman of warmth, devotion, and boundless love for her family.
Judy and her beloved husband, Dominick, shared a love story beginning with a chance meeting at a bowling alley that led to 58 wonderful years of marriage, and their bond only deepened with each passing year.
A proud homemaker and gifted cook, Judy poured her heart into creating a warm and welcoming home. Her Christmas Eve gatherings were legendary—a cherished tradition where family and dear friends came together around her table to celebrate the season and enjoy the feast she so joyfully prepared. Those evenings were a testament to the way Judy lived her life: with generosity, grace, and an open door. She also built a fulfilling career in real estate spanning over a decade, where she shared her love of exploring homes with builders and clients.
Judy savored life’s pleasures, both big and small. She was a passionate follower of the Triple Crown of horse racing and a fiercely loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved the excitement of trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas, and treasured her mornings out for breakfast with family and friends. Her beloved ladies’ lunches with her girlfriends were a highlight she always looked forward to. Above all, Judy’s greatest joy was being Mimi and Grammy to her treasured grandchildren. Her face lit up in their presence, and her love for them knew no bounds.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dominick Coniglio; her daughter, Dawn DiToro, and her husband Steven; her son, Joseph Coniglio, and his wife Lisa; her grandchildren, Stefanie DiToro Klimek and her husband John, Emily Coniglio, and Dominick Coniglio; her sister, Kathleen; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and James Yovino, and her siblings John, James, and Ellen.
Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, laughter, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone around her.
